Fortune Brainstorm Podcast: Spotify CEO Daniel Ek and the audio throwdown
(Fortune)

Each Fortune conference -- from Brainstorm Green, Brainstorm Tech, to the Most Powerful Women Summit, and the Global Forum -- yields fascinating conversations with the best and brightest minds in business.

Fortune wants to make it even easier for you to eavesdrop. The Fortune Brainstorm podcast is a weekly show that features recorded conversations from Fortune's live events.

This week's podcast features an audio throwdown! Back in 2011, when the streaming music service Spotify first became available in the U.S., CEO Daniel Ek spoke at Fortune's Brainstorm Tech conference. The industry has grown in the last two years -- namely, more people stream music from more providers. To help pick the best streaming service, senior editors Matt Vella and Ryan Bradley hash out the merits of various services.

As an added treat, we're posting playlists available in each of our respective favorite platforms. Here is Ryan's, Matt's* and mine.

*We had some technical difficulties with Matt's favorite service, so we used a different one, which adds a layer. Happy listening! To top of page
