Growth was strongest in its infrastructure division, which GE touts with its "ecomagination" advertising campaign featuring products like windmill turbines and fuel-efficient jet engines. GE has also been streamlining the company: Last year it sold its GE supply and advanced materials businesses. This year, it plans to sell its plastics division.
