Hyundai Sonata
Base Price: $19,395 - $27,245
Mileage: 24 City / 35 Hwy

Although Hyundai doesn't pitch it as a luxury car competitor, the Sonata leaves little left wanting from an entry-level Lexus or Mercedes.

The performance is there, along with the ride quality and steering feel. The interior quality is all there, too -- and the design is even better. About the only thing you'll miss from a proper luxury brand, is paying more for insurance and gasoline.
