Million-dollar cars from Amelia Island auctions

Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and Duesenberg are among the cars that sold for top-dollar at the Florida collector car event.

It's hard to pin down exactly, but Ferrari produced between 24 and 30 of these lightweight alloy-bodied sports cars for their most important customers. The special "long-nose" body for this particular car was made by Carrozzeria Scaglietti. It's powered by a 300-horsepower 3.3-liter V12 with six Weber carburetors.
