1965: Smooth move

In 1965, Ford introduced twin-I-beam suspension on its trucks, finally giving them ride quality appreciably better than a Conestoga wagon. I-beam suspension was rugged enough to handle tough truck work but it allowed the front wheels to move up and down independently of one another.
