It's often said that business is a marathon, not a sprint. Natarajan "Chandra" Chandrasekaran knows it can be both. In the three years since he became CEO and managing director of Tata Consultancy Services -- an IT company and division of the Tata Group, India's largest industrial conglomerate -- annual revenue has jumped from $6 billion to $10.17 billion. TCS does business in 42 countries, only a few of which Chandrasekaran has yet to visit. And Chandrasekaran, 48, balances running the company with running marathons: Since 2008, he has completed six.
