Holiday hiring for Kohl's begins in October and the retailer fills most jobs by mid-November.
This year, the company is hiring 50,000 seasonal employees -- an average of 40 seasonal associates at each of its locations across the country.
Kohl's also plans to hire 6,400 employees at its distribution centers and about 350 people to staff its credit operations.
