Paris vs. Prague

gallery honeymoon hot spots
Unmistakable Paris is pictured left. On right is the less familiar Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.

Its chic charm, evocative atmosphere and vibrant history make the City of Lights one of the most romantic cities in the world. But Paris is also one of the most expensive to visit, especially for travelers.

For those looking for European-style romance, culture and history at a much cheaper price, try Prague. There are three opera houses, 20 concert venues, fine dining restaurants and plenty of nightlife and green spaces. And the old part of the city is like walking through an outdoor museum of 18th century and Medieval architecture.

Prague's peak summer months may cause prices to rise, according to Hotwire.com, but it's much more affordable during winter, spring and fall.
