For those who want faster wireless options beyond Wi-Fi, Amazon has two more options in the 8.9-inch size that include a 4G wireless network. AT&T is offering a one-time $49 annual data package that includes 250MB a month, but 3GB and 5GB monthly data plans are also available. At $499 the tablet comes with 16GB, or $599 with 32GB.
On price alone, this is cheaper than the iPad, but keep in mind 250 MB of data isn't all that much. You can see that Amazon is trying to give more at a cheaper price while still giving you a comparative point in the wallet. The question is, will it work?
