After allegedly lifting nearly $3 million from New York ATMs, the defendants celebrated, prosecutors said. They racked up a $4,100 bill, mostly on champagne. Their smallest purchase was $10 for two cranberry vodkas.

Prosecutors have accounted for the money shipped and spent, but say a significant portion is missing.

A sixth defendant "fled upon learning of the arrests of his co-conspirators this morning and remains a fugitive," prosecutors wrote in a court document.
