Was this company a 2011 top stock?

After spinning off from Marathon Oil Corporation in June 2011, Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) focused on its own business -- and it paid off. Within the first quarter, the company saw a 25% increase in its quarterly dividend. With its existing strengths in mind, MPC continues to oil its well-working machine, focusing on crude oil, geographic distribution and its Speedway retail outlets. Its successful year, with revenues at $73.6 billion, places the new spinoff in the Fortune 500.
