Esque's Gold-Leaf Beer Bottles
Esque's Gold-Leaf Beer Bottles
Esque's limited-edition beer bottle sculptures (there are 250 in total) were originally - you guessed it - beer bottles. The bottles were melted in a low-energy electric furnace that runs on wind power. While Esque melts beer bottles primarily to produce items for its eco line of glassware, the remnants of the process were turned back into these handcrafted homages to the beer bottle. Also from Esque's line: One-of-a-kind candleholders made from glass goblets.

Candlestick holders, $150/each; beer bottles, $140/each
